It's so nice to meet you! My name is Caryn and I am so glad you're here! I'm a Lifestyle Wedding and Family Portrait Photographer based out of Arizona.

Outside of running Caryn Schott Photography, I am passionate about my family, music, my cute Schnoodle, and my faith. I also love going on adventures with my husband and am a voracious reader!

I was born and raised in Southern California and it will always have a piece of my heart! Things I miss most about California are: my family, the beach, and of course Disneyland! Growing up in this beautiful piece of the world shaped my life and the appreciation I have for the simple and stunning things in life.

I moved to Arizona in 2018 without knowing a single person! I needed a new adventure and Arizona called to my soul with it's breathtaking sunsets, arid landscape, and panoramic vistas. I have been blessed to see much of this gorgeous state and I will always love exploring more.

I met my husband here in Arizona and we were married in 2019. After I got my wedding images back, I realized that I wanted to create these memories for others! I wanted to capture the life-altering moments of love and happiness for families and couples.

In 2020, my amazing husband gifted me a camera for Christmas and that was what I jokingly call, "the beginning of the end"! I now have made the dream of capturing moments my reality and I can't wait to photograph your dreams coming true too!
I base my philosophy around three things I am passionate about:
Light
Light is powerful! Photography is all about light and capturing your glow! Cameras are the vehicles to create legacies and capture moments of light.
Story
I believe everyone has a beautifully unique story to tell and I would love to capture yours! Your story is courageous, meaningful, and needs to be told!
Memory
I don't know about you, but when I look through photographs of trips or big life events, I am flooded with memories! I smile as I look back and think of specific moments in time that I am immediately transported back to. I want to provide you with these beautiful memories and legacies for years to come!
